Kid's Heart Challenge
Hello parents and guardians,
Well, it is almost that time of year again for our Kid’s Heart Challenge (formally known as Jump Rope/Hoops for Heart day). We will be starting our Challenge with a Kick Off Assembly for our students (put on by the American Heart Association) on Friday, February 8. Then your child will be participating in their challenge during Physical Education class the first part of the week of February 25. Any last minute donations will need to be turned in by Friday, March 1.
There will be some information coming home with your child the day of our Kick Off Assembly, so please be on the lookout for this info.
If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Weaver (Physical Education) at Sunflower Elementary 913-294-8040 or firstname.lastname@example.org
Please see the attached flyer from the American Heart Association!

We are glad to share in the educational experience of your children. We want you to know what we are all about at Sunflower Elementary. We have prepared a set of videos to help you get to know the programs and activities at Sunflower Elementary.
Community event flyers will be posted on the district's webpage instead of going home in student backpacks. If you would like your event posted, please contact the district office @ 913-294-8000.
