Senior Class Parking Moves Back on Campus

Members of the Class of 2021 are invited to park on campus for the remainder of the school year.

The map depicted below illustrates the following:

  1. Where we want seniors to park (shaded in red)
  2. How we want seniors to walk to approach the building after exiting their vehicles (red arrows)
  3. Where we want seniors to enter the building (the gymnasium entrance)

These measures should allow us to maintain social distancing while staff, school buses, and vehicle drop off arrive simultaneously.

Getting Ready for April 26th!

Hudson High School is getting ready to welcome more in-person learners on April 26. While much of what we have accomplished during our hybrid model will remain, it is never too early to reinforce that adherence to three of our primary safety measures will remain important: proper mask wearing, frequent and thorough handwashing, and staying home if experiencing symptoms related to COVID-19.

We look forward to Monday, April 26 and plan to hold an all-school virtual assembly for students during D-period on that day. Staff will be orienting (or re-orienting) students to the required school operation protocols throughout the day. We will also reach out to 8th grade students who will be attending school at HHS in-person for the first time.

There is still much work to be done, mainly cleaning and moving classroom furniture.

An important reminder that the Department of Education has eliminated the Hybrid learning model option so students are either learning fully in-person or fully remotely.

Freshman Virtual Movie Night

The Class of 2024 officers are hosting an online movie night for freshman class members on Friday, April 16th at 7:00 pm. We will be watching the film "The Zookeeper's Wife."

Freshman should check their email for an invite to a google classroom with information about how to watch the movie with their classmates. Snack packs generously donated by the Home & School Association can be picked up from the table located outside of the main office. Email Mrs. Carter with any questions (dcarter@hudson.k12.ma.us).

UNESCO International Conference Opportunity for Students

Are you looking to get yourself involved in an on-going research project that targets global issues? Well, the United Nations Educational Cultural Organization or UNESCO is holding its 24th international conference in Portugal in January 2022 that could provide this very opportunity.

The theme this year is “Cultural Diversity - The Indigenous languages as an integration factor and sustainability of planet earth". If you are interested in designing a project around this topic and presenting it to an international audience, then please e-mail Ms. Pavao for an application. You can also learn more about this year’s theme and past projects at the UNESCO website. The deadline for applications is Friday, April 16th.

How to Get Student Technology Support

HPS Technology Device Repair Form

If a student is experiencing technical issues with a district-issued device, students/parents must fill out this online repair form.

After filling out the online repair form, the student/family must bring the device to their school’s main office. The Technology Department will pick up the device, conduct an evaluation, repair the device, and send an email to the student/family when the device can be picked up from the main office of the student’s school.

Aspen Account Issues

If parents/students are experiencing problems with their Aspen Account, they should send an email to aspenhelp@hudson.k12.ma.us.

Google ID Account Issues

Problems with a student's Google ID, please send an email to chromebook_rts@hudson.k12.ma.us. Questions concerning the repair status of a student's device can also be emailed to this same email address.

Class Dues

Hudson High School students in grades 9-12 are assessed annual class dues. Dues are collected annually, rather than in one lump sum in senior year, to help families better manage expenses such as graduation caps and gowns and yearbooks which are not included in the school department budget.

Class dues have been set at $35.00 for freshmen, sophomores and juniors and $40 for seniors. Class dues payments can be paid with a credit card on your child's MySchoolBucks account or by submitting a check made payable to Hudson High School to the appropriate class treasurer or advisor. Please be sure to include your child's name and YOG in the memo section if paying by check.

After School Help Available on Google Meet!

Reminder for students and families: All teachers offer after school help on Google Meet. Students can contact individual teachers for more information about their weekly extra help schedule. Click here for a list of teacher emails.
