Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! The Fun Run was a great success because of our Robison Community. Our PTO board member in charge of primary fundraising, Scott Scerbo, did an outstanding job organizing this event. Thank you to all of our volunteers who came out to mark laps and help. It was wonderful to see so many parents come out to cheer on their favorite runners. We raised $34,658, and there is the potential to raise even more through eligible corporate matching gifts. If you have an email that is associated with a business that does matching gifts, you may receive notification that your employer matches gifts.

Thanks to our WATCH D.O.G.S. who were volunteering today (Mr. Fried, Mr. Griffith, and Mr. Lucas), our GaGa ball pit has been installed. A video on the rules of playing this game is being shared with the students next week! We are super excited about this fun addition to our playground. Your support of fundraisers brings so many great opportunities to our students!

Dads and other father figures will soon have the opportunity to volunteer as part of the WATCH D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) program. To learn more about the program, you may watch the video below. The website for purchasing a WATCH D.O.G.S shirt is also If you are interested in volunteering for a full day at Robison, please sign up below. We ask that all volunteers sign up at least one week in advance to allow us to plan your schedule for the day. Volunteers will be included in a special pizza night as an appreciation for volunteering and to answer any questions about the program. For safety reasons, we are limiting pizza night to volunteers who have committed to volunteering and to their children.

If you are unable to volunteer this fall, we will open up another sign-up for the spring. All volunteers in the spring who did not attend the fall pizza night will be invited to attend that event.

We look forward to celebrating our veterans this year with a combination of our traditional indoor program and an outdoor car parade. Veterans may participate in one or both activities.

This event is restricted to our students, staff, veterans, and their guests only.

In order to prepare, we need all RSVPs for the breakfast and program as soon as possible. If you completed the google survey form to indicate if you were coming to the car parade, that was not the official RSVP. The official RSVP is the first link below. Dear Robison Parents,

The students are getting very excited as they prepare for our annual Robison Veterans Day Celebration on Friday, November 12th.

We will begin our celebration with a Veteran’s Day car parade at 9:20 am. Students will be lined around the parade route waving their flags. Following the car parade (about 10:00 am) will be our Veterans Day presentation in the cafeteria. (The Veterans Day Celebration should be finished by 11:00 am)

We are inviting the veterans from the families of Robison students to come and be honored for all they have done to preserve our country’s liberties.

If your family’s veteran would like to attend, please complete the attached RSVP and return it to your child’s teacher by Friday, October 29th, or you can submit a virtual RSVP by clicking HERE.

Each year we dedicate the walls in our school to displaying veterans’ pictures. If you have a veteran that you would like to honor (one that is coming to the program or others who are not), please consider one of the options below.
Option 1- Make a poster collage (11 x 17) to share pictures and information about the veterans in your family. (You can request a poster from your child’s teacher.)
Option 2- You can use the attached ‘Veterans Day 2021’ form. Please print, fill out and return the form to your child’s teacher. (You may fill out more than one form.)

All veteran picture displays are due by Friday, November 5th.

If you'd like to have your child's birthday celebrated at school, we offer parents the opportunity to purchase ice cream from the cafeteria to be distributed to their child's class during lunch. In order for our cafeteria to prepare for this, you must give at least one week's notice. You may email michelle.mendiola@cfisd.net if you are interested.

Hello Parents,

The Gifted and Talent referral period is now open until November 30th. Teachers and parents are able to refer students to be screened in January. This year, all Kindergarten students will be screened for the program, so there is no need to do anything further for them.

You may request a referral form for students in grades 1-5 by clicking on the google form below.
