Steam Engine
The Steam Engine was invented in England 1698. It was built to pump water out of coal mines. It was good for keeping mines from flooding. Two steam boilers were used to pump water from mines. Three different people; Thomas Savery, Thomas Newcomen & James Watt. James Watt officially developed the steam engine.
