CCR INFORMATION
ASVAB Career Exploration Program
Dear Bulldogs,
The ASVAB Career Exploration Program is a comprehensive career exploration and planning assessment that includes the most widely used multiple-aptitude test battery in the world. The program also offers an interest inventory and other activities designed to help students explore the world of work and gain confidence in making career decisions.
While this is a test that the military uses during the recruiting process, taking the ASVAB does not obligate a student to the military in any way, and can be used for career exploration purposes only. The ASVAB CEP is offered at no cost and no obligation to 10th, 11th and 12th graders.
Austin High School will provide eligible students an opportunity to take the ASVAB CEP on Thursday, January 19th beginning at 7:30am in the auditorium; the deadline to register is Friday, January 6th. Students can sign up to take the ASVAB at the link below:
Test day information will be communicated to those who sign up prior to the exam. If you have any questions, please let Ms. Wade, counselor, or Mrs. Richter, College and Career Readiness Advisor know. Thank you.
