Friday, February 14, we will celebrate Friendship Day here on campus. This celebration will consist of a class party during the last period on Friday in their homeroom groups. Teachers would correspond directly with parents about the supplies/snacks needed as well as the number of volunteers needed to assist in the classroom during that period. Please email your homeroom teacher directly if you have any questions.

Meet Our Wonderful Operation Manager

My name is Marilyn Robinson. I have been with the Harmony family for many years in many roles and in the "life of education" for even more years beyond that. I cherish being in the midst of watching little seeds blooming into our future and I am excited to come to HSIC to see a whole new crop. I have a beautiful "Robinson" family that I adore, Sean (husband of 25+ years), Zachary (my snuggly 17 year old) and Tayor (my witty genius 14 year old). I look forward to serving alongside this very impressive team and thank you for graciousness I have received thus far

Dear Parents,

Practice STAAR is next week! Practice STAAR is used to collect student data to guide instruction. Please do not schedule appointments on testing days and encourage your child to do well on the tests and help them at home by doing the following:

  • Discuss the tests with your child. Talking about the tests will help ease your child’s worries and show him/her that you are interested

  • Make sure your child goes to bed early and gets plenty of rest. Students’ minds and bodies need to be ready for a full day of trying their best.

  • Make sure your child eats a good breakfast. It is difficult for students to think and do their best if their stomach is empty.

  • Arrive to school on time. Being late may cause your child to feel rushed and nervous. Arriving on time will help your child feel relaxed and ready to do his/her best.

  • Send your child to school with words of encouragement. Hearing, “You can do it!” or “I have confidence in you!” from you means a lot to your child.

Thank you for your continued support!

Below is the Testing Schedule:

Please call the attendance office as early as possible if your student is not going to be attending school that day. HSI Carrollton Parents' Survey

Dear Harmony Family,

As we strive to ensure that our school provides a safe and healthy learning environment for our students, we want to learn more about your experiences as a parent or caretaker of a student.

We send this letter as an invitation to participate in the School Survey for Parents and Families. The survey includes questions about your student’s learning, school safety, and interpersonal relationships, as well as your perceptions of the school environment and your personal involvement in school.

Your feedback will be very helpful in improving student engagement, learning conditions, and the overall school environment.

Beginning today, we invite all parents, guardians, and caretakers to complete the School Survey.

Your responses are completely anonymous, and your name or personally identifiable information will not be collected. As you respond to each survey item, please think about your own personal experiences as a parent, caregiver or guardian at your child’s school.

By participating in this survey, you will provide valuable insights that we can use to improve the climate and culture in our schools. Our school will use the survey results to develop strategies, procedures, and/or programs to enhance our school climate. You can take the survey online using the following link:https://forms.gle/t3NrgNG42Y23PouL8

Please complete your survey response by January 30.

Thank you for your time, and we hope you will support our effort to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.
