Edmond Doyle News

10-25-2017

Red Ribbon week has been quite a success! Hopefully the message that Mr. Cornish is delivering to each child that using illegal drugs and abusing alcohol are not the choices our students want to make for themselves is sinking in deeply. Illegal drugs and alcohol abuse are serious issues that some of our students face due to choices that some of their family members have made. Breaking the chains of addiction is not easy-but it is a choice every person must make at some point in their life. Everyone at Edmond Doyle just prays that no child here will grow up to make the choice to become dependent on drugs or alcohol. Thank you to every parent that has helped their child participate in our dress up days. Your creativity has been amazing!

Thank you for helping us with our school fundraiser. We don't have the final amounts, but we think we did well. The money we raise helps us do a lot of fun things that we wouldn't be able to do if we didn't have the funds available to us. If you weren't able to sell, but would like to contribute money to our activity account-feel free to do so. Every penny helps!
