CHS Students Earn CNA Licenses
Congratulations to the students of Center High School's CTE Healthcare Program who earned their CNA license under the supervision of Jaclyn Scarborough, RN, BSN.
These Panola dual credit students clocked 60 classroom hours and 40 clinical hours at Pine Grove Nursing Center. A big thank you to Pine Grove for partnering with CISD.

Cox and Abella-Hernandez RETURN to STATE
Cross Examination duo Nathali Abella-Hernandez and Kaylee Cox are DISTRICT CHAMPIONS and qualify for STATE - SECOND YEAR IN A ROW!
FRESHMEN duo Nathan Newton and Madison Hope Nehring take 5th, one spot away from the semi-finals.
We are so incredibly proud of these results. Good luck at state, girls!
And Freshmen? We will get 'em next year! We are proud of this young team with BIG potential.

Roughrider Basketball Finishes as Area Champs
This season, senior MarMar Evans broke the record for total career points, earning the Roughriders 1,831 points overall.
Coach Harrison was named District 17 4A Coach of the Year.
Women's Powerlifting DID WORK at Regionals, Two Qualify for STATE!
Andrea Horton placed 1st in her weight class AND won an award for "Heavy Platform Outstanding Deadlift." Destiny Tinner placed 2nd in her weight class. Both girls qualified for the STATE MEET!
Congratulations to Hollie Herndon who placed NINTH in her weight class.
