Science Curriculum Human Sexuality and Responsibility

Every year, middle school students learn about human sexuality and responsibility. This curriculum is taught through our science classes. This year the science department will teach the curriculum the last two weeks of the school year. I invite you to attend the CAC meeting on April 8th from 4pm to 5pm in the Library to review the curriculum with our science team. Parents may choose to have their child opt out of the entire curriculum or specific lessons. Opt out letters, this school year’s curriculum and more information about Human Sexuality and Responsibility can be found using the following links:

Think Before You Post

What you post online matters; this is a value that needs to be passed on to our children. Please take some time over the break to have discussion with your child about social media and what they post. I encourage you to watch the video by following the link and then watch it with your children:

https://youtu.be/wyjd73tUXig

After you watch the video, take some time to explore the following website:

You will find great tips for parents on social media sites, apps and more. Please remember to Think Before You Post!

Have a wonderful and safe Spring Break. We can’t wait to see you back after a long week of rest. School resumes Monday, March 25th.
