Brock Elementary Update
March 30th- April 3rd
A Note From Mrs.Griffith
Good Afternoon,
I first want to say that I miss our sweet kiddos very much! I know this is very hard on everyone and we want to first and foremost be here to support the social and emotional needs of our students, parents, and staff. We are working to create a flexible virtual learning experience for our students as we navigate through these uncharted waters. Our teachers have been working together to create a structured and easy to use format for our students. Our district administrators, coaches and support staff worked hard this week to get supplies and devices out to parents and students that need them. This will be an ongoing process as our family's needs are communicated to us.
Pre-K through First Grade will receive their communication/work through See Saw as we work to get those students set up in a Google Classroom. We know this will be a new platform for them. We will make sure everything is very simple and clear before we launch this to the lower grade levels. Second grade will receive their work in Google Classroom. Your students have been using this platform all year and should be comfortable using it.
You can plan to receive next week's lessons between 8:00 and 10:00 on Monday the 30th. They will be very structured and easy to navigate for your child. We realize there will be bumps but we are ready to do whatever necessary to support our families. Please know that our main goal as a district is to support our community in this time of need through providing resources and experiences. We miss all of our students and look forward to the different ways we will connect with them. Thank you all for your support and know that this community is so great because of the amazing families we have here. If you need anything, please feel free to reach out.

Our Online learning explained by Mrs.Lane!
A Few Reassurances
- We are learning with you. Do not stress out about any of it! We only want to provide resources and materials to support your family needs.
- Zooms are not mandatory by any means, but we do want to provide time for our students to connect and see each other. (Trust me, when my kid is Zooming, I have to go! :)) We want it to be fun for them. It is more about the social/ emotional connection than anything else.
- We are working to fix anything that is confusing or not working. We promise our goal is to provide simple and easy to understand resources.
- Your families well being is our first concern. We don't want to add stress.
- We miss our kids!
