West Oxford Owl
February 9, 2024
Happy Superb Owl Day! Thanks to each of you who came out and cheered on our growth parade. Our students worked really hard the first semester, and we cannot wait to see how much they grow this semester! We celebrated the start of Black History Month with a spirit week. We also celebrated the 100th day of school and awards day. Omar Mousa represented us at the district wide spelling bee and made us proud by being the youngest speller on stage. We had the puppeteer, Hobey Ford, share his production of Animalia on Monday. We also celebrated Ms. Clark for School Counselor Week!
Congratulations to our employees of the year for 2023-2024:
Xantippe Hart, Teacher of the Year
Ashley Allen, Rookie of the Year
Tashika Harris, Bus Driver of the Year
Jocelyn Tuck, Clerical Staff of the Year
Carly Minor, Beginning Teacher of the Year
