**KEEP YOUR CHILDREN AT HOME WHEN SICK**
Keep children at home when sick
If students exhibit any cold or flu symptoms at school you will likely receive a call asking to pick your student up, unless a family doctor has documented an alternate diagnosis for symptoms
AECC does testing on site if you would like
Students need to be cleared with nurse or administrator before returning to school
For information on the decision making process please see this document from the Department of Health:

What if someone develops symptoms of COVID-19 while at school?
Any student, staff who reports COVID-19 like symptoms must immediately isolate themselves from others, with consent can be tested and is sent home.
If symptoms only and not considered a close contact, determine the number of class A and class B symptoms, if testing-we must wait for test results for the student to return to school
If positive- home isolation for 10 days, 24 hours after fever resolves and symptoms improved
If negative- able to return to school when fever free for 24 hours and symptoms improved
If choose not to test- depends on symptoms, if class A or multiple class B we act as if they are positive
TECH SUPPORT AND CHROMEBOOK DISTRIBUTION FOR NEW STUDENTS
For students in quarantine and needing a Chromebook:
Families can call our 425-431-1211 or techsupport@edmonds15.org for assistance.
Our Tech will set you up with the Amazon Lockers (at the back of the ESC)
We will then send a code to the family for contactless pickup
Please get a Chromebook even if your student will be in-person, in case your student or the class needs to move to online learning while quarantining.

This information pertains to Developmental Preschool DPK (ECEAP Classrooms Serve Full Lunches as usual)"
We are starting with a more "snack-style" food service which is more familiar to staff and students. Also with COVID restrictions, most items are individually packaged and "self-select". There are items from each food group (fresh fruit and vegetable, protein, whole grain, beverage. As a staff we decided to start simpler and graduate up and increase our repertoire once staff and students were more comfortable.
Students will get their choice of foods in class but may not eat as much as “lunch” at home due to distractions, new foods, and time constraints.
