ReadWorks: Seeds Need to Move
Remember, you can visit the ReadWorks site each day to find the passages. Just click here. The questions can actually be answered right in there. You will just need to log in as a STUDENT by clicking "Student Login." From there, you will need to enter our class code, which is JC7UWS. You will then select your name from the list, and enter the password 1234. When you do this, the listing of stories pop right up. Simply choose Seeds Need to Move.

After reading the news magazine, go to the "Extend the lesson" activities and choose the video "Summer Safety Do's and Don'ts" Next, learn more information about vocabulary from the article. Just for fun you might wish to play the "Bounce!" game.
Finally, the last option in this site includes a printable with the chance to do some opinion writing. What do you think: Are trampoline parks good for kids, or not good for kids? Use the OREO model to drive your thinking.
