Did you know that there are five sets of twins within our Lower School student commUNITY? Interestingly, they are all boy-girl twins with the exception of one set.


Meet, from top to bottom, Thomas and Lauryn Tyner (4th grade), Cade and Adyson Christner (3rd grade), Mikah and MacKenzie Mendoza (2nd grade), Dariyanne and Darian Collings (2nd grade), and Chase and Connor LaCoste (2nd grade).

Wizard of Oz - February 25-27

Begin making plans now to join the NCS Creative Arts Department as they present The Wizard of Oz at the Greater Covington Center on N. Jefferson Street in downtown Covington:


February 25 - 7:00 P.M.

February 26 - 7:00 P.M.

February 27 - 2:00 and 7:00 P.M.


Mrs. Sigl and our talented Lower School and Middle School students and cast invite you and your family to their performance! Tickets, $5.00 per student and $10 per adult are on sale now and can be purchased online or at the door. Concessions will be sold at each performance.


HINT: You won’t want to miss the Friday night show. Some of our faculty will be playing some of the lead cast roles.

Grandparents' Day

At Northlake Christian School, Grandparents’ Day is one of our most favorite events of the year. This year, the PreK-4th grade students will all be performing in the Lower School Grandparents' Day to be held on Thursday, March 24. More information about the details of their performance will come from our office as the time gets closer.


A light breakfast will be served between 8:30 A.M. and 9:00 A.M. during the registration time in the school gym. The children’s program will begin at 9:00 A.M. followed by time for visiting the classrooms afterward.


A Scholastic Book Fair will be available in the library on Grandparents’ Day, March 24.


To assist you in planning:

8:00 Students should be in their classrooms

8:30-9:00 All guests in the wooden gym to enjoy refreshments

9:00-10:15 PreK - 4th grade program

10:30-11:00 Visit the classrooms and Book Fair in the library

3rd Grade Field Trip to STENNIS Infinity SPace Center

The 3rd grade students in Ms. Jarlock's, Mrs. Rick's, and Mrs. Roberts's classes attended a field trip to the Stennis Infinity Space Center on Friday, February 19.


They had the opportunity to meet Astronaut Fred W. Hayes from Mission Apollo 13. Astronaut Hayes is one of the 24 astronauts world-wide that has traveled to the moon. He spoke to the students about his mission and spent time answering their questions.
