We are working on learning about using an amazing digital portfolio for our school work. It is taking us a bit longer to get acclimated to using our iPads in the classroom. I am hoping that we be ready to use the digital portfolio by the end of this week. When we are ready you will receive a letter to see how you can easily have access to your student's portfolio. You will be able to see "live" work and be able to comment and "like" the work your child adds to their portfolio each day. It is exciting and so much fun! Look for information to come home about "Seesaw the Learning Journal".
OOPs!----Our water bottles did not make it home on Friday. We will send them home for washing on Monday. Please send them back on Tuesday-----Sorry!
We have finished our work on school rules, expectations, and consequences. Please review the behavior expectations document (copy sent by email) with your child. It is important that your child understands that students, parents, and teachers all work together to ensure success at school. Classroom rules help to make sure we can all do our jobs!
Here is the current version of our classroom directory. You can use the directory to send birthday invitations, or to connect with other families from our class. If there are changes to the directory I will revise it here.

What: Walk or Bike to School Day! A morning of fun, exercise, smiles and a raffle for those who participate in the event.
When: 8:00am on Wednesday, October 7, 2015
Where: Meet Middleton teachers at Pioneer Park to walk or bike to school together. We will meet at 8 am. Bikers will leave first and the walking group will leave second.
Afterschool: We will have teacher volunteers helping students get their bikes and helmets to go home. We will not be biking or walking to Pioneer Park in the afternoon as a group.
More Info: We will have teacher volunteers along the route and at Middleton to help students park their bike and get into school. We are asking that students not bring bike locks due to the quantity of bikes on this special day. Students will be offered a small bottle of water, snack and a wrist band as they enter the building for participating in this special event. We look forward to seeing you on Walk or Bike to School Day!
