Amy Kangas
7-12 Lead Learner
Who am I?
I have been teaching Spanish since 1997-1998. My career has taken me from Dows, to Hubbard-Radcliffe, Mason City (Newman Catholic), and Columbus Catholic High School in Waterloo before I came to Hampton-Dumont in 2012.
I enjoy using technology to make the educational experience richer for my students. Lifelong learning is a way of life....always be curious...always ask Why? How?
I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree from Wartburg College in 1996 and my Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from UNI in 2002.
My husband, Tim and I, have two children, Linnea and Joseph, and two dogs, Ellie and Abi. We live in Waverly, Iowa. When I am not at school, I like to read, cook with friends, rubberstamp cards/scrapbook, travel and spend time with my family.
How can I help you?
I can help with technology integration.
I can help with data collection and analysis.
I can help with differentiation of instruction for all students.
