Class Notes: Reminders for the New School Year
Early Dismissal Friday, October 1: All NSC schools will have an early dismissal Friday, October 1 for teacher professional development. Dismissal times will depend on the school's start time. See times on the graphic above or click here to see the times for each school.
Chromebooks: All students need to bring their Chromebooks to school daily. If Chromebooks are broken or in need of repair, please return them to your child's school.
Daily Health Check: Parents please perform daily health checks on your students prior to sending them to school. This will help stop the spread of COVID in our schools. The Daily Health Check list is available here or at the COVID Return to Learn section of the website. The document is also posted below this article.
If you need information regarding registration, uniforms, start/dismissal times, or any other new school year matters, please visit the website: www.normandysc.org/backtoschool
Good Attendance Critical to Great Achievement
The staff of Normandy School Collaborative are excited to welcome you to a new school year filled with opportunities to learn and engage! We are looking forward to seeing many of you in person.
But we need your help!
Attending school has a huge impact on student success.
We realize some absences are for health or other reasons. But when students are absent 2 or more days a month (or 18 days over the school year) they can fall far behind in what they learn. Excused and unexcused absences both mean missing classroom learning time.
