Veterans Day
We hope that you have a Happy Veterans Day.
Like you, this Veterans Day we will be taking time to reflect upon the service and sacrifice of our Veterans. We remember the phrase "Some gave all, all gave some", especially when we say thanks for your service.
President Woodrow Wilson proclaimed November 11th as the first commemoration of Armistice Day. In 1938, Congress passed a law to mark November 11th as a legal holiday. In 1954, President Dwight Eisenhower signed a law that changed the name to Veterans Day. Today, Veterans Day celebrates all those who served honorably in the military, whether in war or peace. To you, we say thank you!
