Weekly Wrap Up & Announcements

We had a short week this week, but we filled it with lots of learning. Thank you to the parents that made it out to our Coffee with Admin, PTO meeting, and our Middle School Parent meeting. We so appreciate your participation, feedback and support.

Reminder: There is no school Friday, November 10th in observance of Veterans' Day.

There is also an early release day on November 16th and no school the week of November 20th.

2nd Annual Franklin Feast!

Our 2nd Annual Franklin Feast will be held on November 15th! All of our students and faculty will sit down to enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving Feast, catered by Boston Market, together. This is a wonderful time to celebrate our gratitude for our Franklin Family. It's also a very large undertaking, feeding 1200+ people at one time, so we need your help! WE STILL NEED VOLUNTEERS!!! Please sign up to volunteer by filling out the form at Ms. Greenman will confirm your position as a volunteer via email.Due to limited parking and the amount of volunteers we will need to make this event a success, only CONFIRMED VOLUNTEERS will be permitted onto campus this day.

We also need donations! If you could donate any of the following, we'd be greatly appreciative:

Plastic Thanksgiving-themed table clothes (for 8' rectangular tables)

Plastic wear (forks, spoons, knifes)

Paper napkins (white or thanksgiving themed; dinner-sized)

Store-bought Apple or Pumpkin Pies

Thanks so much for your support of this amazing tradition.

Morning Drop-Off

Thank you to all who have adjusted their morning routines to decrease our tardies! It's great to see our students making it to class on time. Please remember students must be in their seats by 7:45 (elementary)/8:45 (middle school) in order to be marked present and on time. Students not in their seat by the 7:45/8:45 bell will be marked tardy. Leaving an extra 5 minutes earlier can make all the difference for your student starting their day on time and without feeling hurried.

We've also noticed an influx of early drop off that has become problematic. We do not have supervision available for students dropped off before 7:15 am. You are welcome to line up at the curb before 7:15 am, but students cannot be let out of cars before that time. It is extremely unsafe for students to be unsupervised during this time while staff and parents are parking. Thank you so much for your cooperation with these important policies.
