March 23: Math test on 11-1 through 11-4
March 24: Half day, Stations of the Cross at 8:30am
Academics
Spelling/Writing: No formal spelling/writing lesson for this short week.
English: With our descriptive paragraphs done, we will continue learning about parts of speech. This week is: ADVERBS!
Science: We are close to the finish line! Students will finish up their rough drafts when they return from break. Instructions will come home then that will explain how to put together the final copy.
Reading: Our current story is called The Right Dog for the Job. It is a narrative nonfiction story about service animal training. Skills will include sequence of events and main idea/details.
Social Studies: This week we are learning about how people caught "Gold Fever" once the news of the discovery of gold at Sutter's Mill got out!
