Skateboarding is Science!
- Distribution of force (safety/how helmets and padding work)
- Center of gravity (balance)
- Momentum/Inertia (board and skater motion)
- Center of Mass (spins and ollies)
Students will learn how science is being used in skateboarding, but they will also LOVE the actual skateboarding routines!! This assembly will show that science is not only fun, but "cool", too!
