A cell phone helps you by contacting someone if you need help. I think that there is a certain age when you should own a cellphone. Some people say that cell phones can cause brain tumors and cancer because of the cell phone radiation on the side of your head. Another danger with cell phones is that people text and drive which can lead to a car accident. Cell phones use causes 25% of car accidents while driving. Cell phone can also cause ADHD which means emotional and hyperactivity problems.
PROS
PROS: Radiofrequency radiation from cell phones is non-ionizing and is not powerful enough to cause cancer. Studies have shown an association between cell phone use and a decreased risk of certain brain tumors . Use of a cell phone while driving is not inherently unsafe. Cell phones increase personal safety by providing an easy means of contacting others during an emergency.
CONS
CONS: Radiation from cell phones can damage sperm which could lead to a miscarriage or childhood cancer. Using a cell phone while driving, even with a hands-free device, is unsafe and makes accidents more likely. Children may have an increased risk of adverse health effects from cell phone radiation.
