Park Terrace Elementary
March 23, 2022 Newsletter
Greetings Park Terrace Elementary!
Welcome back, everyone! I hope everyone had a great, restful and enjoyable spring break! It is so hard to believe but we are now into trimester 3. Where has this school year gone? The final trimester is a busy one, and it is important for students to be here and work hard to finish the school year strong.
Report cards will be available in Campus Parent Portal on Friday, March 25.
Please know that report cards are just one of the many ways teachers report on student learning throughout the year. Teachers look at evidence of learning over time to determine where students are at in their learning at the time of report cards. At the end of a trimester, all grades reflect the learning at the time of the report card. Grades at Park Terrace are:
- MS: Minimal progress toward the standard
- AS: Approaching the standard
- S: Met the standard
- ES: Exceeds the standard
I am so looking forward to the amazing learning and enrichment opportunities our students will have during this final trimester. From SPARK to book bingo to project-based learning and so much more, let’s have a great trimester and finish the school year strong, Panthers!
Sincerely,
Mona Perkins
Principal
