Important Dates

  • Monday, October 25th - Last Day to Register for the Science Fair
  • Friday, October 29th - Halloween Parade and Parties
  • Thursday, November 4th - General PTO Meeting, 8:30am, Central Library
  • Friday, November 5th - Red/White/Blue Patriotic Spirit Day


Registration is now open for Central’s Science Fair on Wednesday, November 17th! All students K-5 are welcome to participate in this non-competitive, fun tradition for Central families! Students with completed registrations by Oct. 25th will be entered into a drawing to win a $25 Learning Express gift card! Upcoming General PTO Meeting

Please join us at 8:30am on Thursday, November 4th at the Central Library for our next General PTO Meeting. This meeting is open to all Central parents and teachers. We will hear a school update from Mr. Gatz and discuss the social distancing plan for the Science Fair, as well as prepare a discussion as to which teacher grant applications the PTO will fund. We'd love your input so please join us. it's a great way to learn about volunteer opportunities and just find out what activities are happening at school.

Charleston Wraps "WRAPS" Up - Thank You Central Families

A huge thanks to VP Fundraising Lauren LaVoie and Charleston Wraps Co-Chairs Erin Wieland and Brooke Angelopoulos for an outstanding job promoting this important fundraiser. The Central community and their families raised $3,500 for the PTO! We can't wait to reinvest those dollars at school. A special thank you to the Front Office staff who assisted the PTO in distributing the prizes each day -- your participation made all the difference! Last Chance to Guess the Teacher!

Once upon a time, your teachers were young children too! Check out these pictures and guess who's who! If you correctly identify all our spooktacular teachers, you'll be entered in a drawing to win $5 to the 2021-2022 Scholastic Book Fair. Up to 20 winners will be drawn. Game ends October 29th.

Guess How Many Candy Corn are in the Jar Winners

Thanks to all the volunteers and children who Guessed How Many Candy Corn candy's were in the jars at each entrance on October 18th. We were happy to see the weather was finally perfect for us. Each child received a pencil and there was one lucky winner from each grade that received a gift card to Aunt Diana's!
