An Update From the Bear Den

The change in weather has brought lots of excitement to both students and staff these last few weeks. The students are overjoyed to be able to get outside for recess and we are all thrilled to see temperatures moving in an upward direction, once again. We can all cross our fingers that we are done with snowpants and snowboots for the year. However, while the temperatures are still fluctuating rapidly, please continue to send jackets with your child to school each day.

I would also like to thank you all for your flexibility, as we experienced our first virtual/packet learning day of the school year, last Friday. It was certainly a challenge to find the best way to plan for the possible side effects of the 2nd dose of the vaccine. We appreciate your assistance and understanding in this matter.

4YO Preschool & Kindergarten Registration Meeting

A reminder that we are hosting a meeting for parents of any incoming 4YO Preschool or Kindergarten student. The meeting will take place on Wednesday, March 10th at Danville Elementary, beginning at 5:00 p.m. Classroom teachers, Mrs. McLeland, Mrs. Enger, and Mrs. Thornburg will all be on hand to answer questions and discuss how to get your child registered for next year.

Please be reminded, due to Covid-19 mitigation, we ask that only parents attend the meeting. Masks will be required. All attendees should enter through the doors near the Elementary office.
