The mission of Giesinger Elementary is to ensure high levels of learning to facilitate continuous growth of the whole child.

Our Vision:

2014 National Blue Ribbon School

From Mrs. Ralston

It's hard to believe we're nearing the end of the school year! Our May calendar is full of events and the Gazette will have all current information for families.

To our Eagle families and Giesiner PTO: Thank you for the treats, gifts, and sweet notes of appreciation for our teachers last week! They truly enjoyed a week full of kindness and love!

This week, May 10-11, third and fourth graders will take the math and reading STAAR tests. It will be a regular school day for all other grades. To preserve the security and confidentiality of the test, only trained staff who have signed an oath will be allowed on campus for testing days.

At Giesinger Elementary, we strive to create a school in which staff provide a safe, loving and positive learning experience for everyone. We are glad you are here!

Thank you for your continuing support. Eagles Soar to Excellence In All We Do!

A Note from the Nurse

Parents, students are not allowed to bring any medicine (prescription/over the counter/herbal/natural) to school and take it themselves. A student may lose their medicine and serious consequences can occur if another student finds and takes it. Any student who needs to take medication during the school day must have an adult/guardian check it in to the Nurse and sign appropriate CISD documents. Please contact the clinic with any questions.

Thank you,

Nurse Corbit
