SCHS Named in the Top 100 Schools Teaching Personal Finance
H&R Block Budget Challenge $20,000 Winner
While doing this students are competing against other students in the nation for a $20,000 scholarship. If a student ends the simulation in the TOP 5 (based on Real World Ready score), he/she wins a $20,000 scholarship!
This year, Anne Harris won a $20,000 scholarship by finishing #3 in the nation.

Adam Carroll Visits ECSD
In his one hour presentation, Adam engaged students from Marine City High School, St. Clair High School, Riverview East High School, parents, and community members by giving them some simple strategies to be financially savvy consumers.
