Shark Shout Outs to:
Mary Albis for buying all of the ingredients we needed to make tamales in class this week. We couldn't have done it without you!
Caroline Freitas and her F block students for allowing us to come in and make tamales. Thank you for your hospitality! We really enjoyed your homemade hot sauce and cranberry orange juice.
John Dickson, Jen Police, and the 18 students who traveled to the Dominican Republic last week to share their service and talents with the children at the DREAM project. It was a pleasure to work with you all!
Ms. Hoff
I would like to send a heartfelt thank you to Ms. Karen Kelly. I experienced a heartbreaking loss over February vacation and Karen was there for me, no questions asked. Karen always knows just what to say to comfort you and I believe this is because everything she says comes straight from her heart. She opened up her home and offered to have me over for tea and she greeted me with a hug as we returned to school this morning. She is the kindest, most thoughtful, and caring person that I know and I feel grateful to be able to call her my colleague and my friend.
