What inspired you to be a counselor?
"I wanted to take care of kids in a different way"
Have you ever thought about a different career? If so what?
" yes, a nurse, interior designer, and assistant principal"
How many years of college did you need to go through?
"6 years"
What is the best part of your job?
" making a difference in kids lives and being there for kids who don't have people to talk to"
What do you hope to achieve by being a counselor?
"I hope that kids will have good memories of middle school and be successful"
Do you have any Heros?
"My grandmother"
What were you childhood dreams?
" I wanted to be a teacher and mom"
Do you feel that you have had an impact on the students?
" I hope so"
What was your major when you were in college?
" at first I was majoring for an interior designer, but then started doing teaching for elementay"
What was it like for you in college?
" real fun in both colleges"
Are you happy so far with what you have achieved as being a counselor?
" I always feel like I can do more"
How long have you been teaching?
" I taught for four years, this is my second year counseling"
Of the years you have been in this career, which do you think has been more successful?
" every year gets better"
What was it that got you interested in counseling?
" my mom is a teacher and I am a people person"

"SFA and UTA"
What were you involved in during high school?
" student counsel, debate, NHS, UIL, teacher aid, tennis, and band"
Did you receive any awards in high school?
"Top 10 percent in UIL, and went to state for debate"

What is your favorite thing to do in your spare time?
"I like to spend time with my family"
Where is your favorite place to vacation?
" anywhere as long as there is a beach"
