Please check with your student about whether they have a pocket folder with brads and if they don't have one please send one to school on Monday (some students still have one from the first of the year) they will need them to keep all their novel notes and vocabulary together.
Also this quarter the students giving a book talk about a book of their choice. Attached is the book talk format and rubric. All students should sign up for a date to present their book talk at school by January 30.

SOCIAL STUDIES- will be studying Canada for the month of January. They will have a map test over the provinces and capitals on the 30th and 31st.
A few things to remember....
We would like each student to have earbuds with them at school when working on chromebooks. Students need to be able to listen to educational videos and text to speech accommodations. Please check to see if your student has a pair to use at school. We appreciate your help.
