Gone Girl
Gillian Flynn
What I liked about the book
I loved the writing style of this book and how everything fit together. From the journal entries, to present day, and how the structure of the flowed and connected was smart. I liked the story line of the story because it is something different. The wife tries to frame her husband for murdering her and I really liked how she plans everything. From the blood, to making friends, to every little detail was great. I also like how the perspectives switch between the two main characters, Nick and Amy. The mystery is enchanting and I wanted to keep reading. I was sad when it ended and surprised too by the way it ended too.
What I did not like about the book
Since it is a thriller book about a sadistic, narcissistic, sociopath it was definitely different. The only thing I can complain about is that I, personally, didn't like some of the characters decisions. One being the relationship between Andie and Nick. It was pretty stupid and made me not like the Nick character even more. The other is a spoiler, which I cannot say. Other than that those thoughts, there wasn't really anything I didn't like about this book.

Would I recommend it ?
Yes I would recommend it for anyone over the age of 13 because there are some parts that are a little more age restricted. But other than that, the book has twists and turns, mystery, and a shocking ending.
