Upcoming Meetings and Events

All Parent Meeting for both New and Returning Families

Welcome back, Crusaders! The CtRCS Administration will be hosting an All Parent Meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 9 at 6-8 p.m. in the Parish Hall. At least one parent from each family (both new and returning) should attend. The Ark will be open for anyone who needs childcare. Please be sure to register at least 24 hours in advance if you plan to use the Ark. If you change your mind, please cancel your reservation.

Used Uniform Sale - DATE CHANGE

We welcome all CtRCS families at our first Used Uniform Sale! Please note the date has changed to 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 1 due to the wonderful selection of many donated items for families to peruse and purchase! Please join us to purchase discounted, used uniform items in a variety of sizes for all grade levels to supplement your student's wardrobe. Would you like to volunteer to get early bird shopping privileges? Please contact Megan Dillingham to volunteer or with questions.

Athletics Meeting for 5th - 7th grade Students

Attention 5th, 6th and 7th graders: Are you interested in representing CtRCS as a student athlete? CtRCS will have the following sports for the 2016-17 school year:

  • Fall Co-Ed Soccer
  • Fall Cross Country
  • Spring Track & Field

Chorus Redemptoris - CtRCS Choir Registration

Beginning in 2nd grade, the students of CtR Catholic School are eligible to participate in Chorus Redemptoris. The choir will meet three times a week and first Fridays in the church. Members will participate in a variety of choral performances throughout the school year.

Under the direction of Ms. Mary Ann Addis, CtRCS Music teacher, the choir will learn Gregorian Chant, hymns, polyphonies, anthems, canons and motets that will be sung during the school’s liturgies and scheduled performances.

Chorus Redemptoris members are also encouraged to participate in the CtR Choristers, under the direction of Bridget Wenk, the Director of Music for Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church. Mrs. Wenk and Ms. Addis will join the choirs for special Sunday liturgies at Christ the Redeemer and at the Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart. We will prepare the choirs for Pueri Cantores, an International Catholic Choral Festival.

Summer Actions

Before/After School Care Enrollment

If you would like to enroll your student(s) in our before and/or after school care program, please complete the BASP Registration form. You may review our BASP fee schedule on our Before/After Care webpage. If you have any questions, please contact Lori Connell, BASP Director.

Tuition/Fee Payments

Please be reminded that our tuition payment schedule for those on the monthly payment option runs June 2016-March 2017. If you have any questions about the status of your account, please email the school office.

If you have not yet paid the $100 activity fee and $75 supply fee (per student), please do so by August 1st.

Summer Assignments

Please remember to continue working your summer assignments. Our teachers are very excited to see what you've been working on!

Additional Supplies

Be sure to check out our Supply List webpage to ensure your student has all of the necessary supplies for the first day of school. While your supply fee will cover the majority, each grade level has a few additional items to be purchased on your own. Please remember these items can be used year-to-year as appropriate.

Policies and Procedures

2016-17 Parent-Student Handbook

Our updated Handbook and Technology Acceptable Use Policy (TAUP) has been posted to the Crusader Parents section of our website. Please remember the last page of the handbook document and the TAUP User Agreement for Students should be signed and returned to each child's homeroom teacher by Thursday, Aug. 11 to confirm you have read and understand the full content of both documents.

Parent Portal Access

Our parent portals are expected to be up-to-date by Aug. 26. This is about the same time new families should expect to receive logon credentials for the Parent Portal.

P.E. Uniforms

Attention: We now have a P.E. uniform for all students 5th-7th grade! Please be sure to review our uniform policy in the Parent-Student Handbook and pick up the P.E. uniform at Mills Uniform Company. To search online, please enter our school code - 3362.

Chili Cook-Off - Save the Date and Support CtRCS!

Mark your calendar! Please join CtRCS for our biggest night of the year - the 3rd Annual CtRCS Chili Cook-Off 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, 2016. In addition to tasting award-winning chili, we'll have food and fun for the whole family! Are you interested in serving up chili to our community at this year's event? Contact Megan Dillingham. Underwriters and sponsors are needed to help us be successful - learn more on how you can help our biggest fundraiser of the year or contact Megan in the Advancement Office.

Living our Mission: Shaping our Future Capital Campaign

Sustaining our mission and vision for your children makes additional facilities and resources imperative and possible through the Living Our Mission: Shaping Our Future Capital Campaign. Please share your support during this important time in the life of our school. CtRCS will greatly benefit from the addition of a new gymnasium; STREAM Lab; auditorium; music, art, and engineering spaces; and more. In order to reach our goal, every CtRCS family is asked to prayerfully consider a pledge payable over three years. Gifts of all sizes are needed - the campaign is being conducted on the basis of equal sacrifice, not equal giving. Please help us reach 100 percent CtRCS family giving by responding to the campaign with your pledge envelope as soon as possible. Additional pledge envelopes are available in the Parish Office and school front desk. Thank you for all you do to help us make our vision for the future a reality for our students now!
