Tansi Kitchener Community!

It is amazing to think that we are at the end of our first term! Thank you for your continued support of our students, staff, and community. Report Cards are going home today and we celebrate the growth and achievement of all of our students. We know that these continue to be trying times and yet see tremendous growth in all of our Cougars.

This month we celebrate the 100th Day of School on February 14th and we have the Family Day and February break from February 21st-25th.

As a staff we are doing all we can to keep our school safe so that we can continue with in-person learning. If your child is displaying any symptoms that could be related to COVID-19, please do not send them to school. It is important that we all work together to keep our Kitchener community safe!

Please ensure that the office has your updated contact information, as we do need a way to get ahold of you for emergency purposes!

SHA continues to ask families to report positive cases directly to the school. If your child tests positive on a rapid test, please call the school (306) 791-8516 to let us know. If you need rapid tests please call the school as we have a limited supply available.

Please continue to check for updates as changes happen via Edsby, our web page, social media feeds on Facebook and Twitter, and documentation home.

There are a few dates coming up that we want to make sure that everyone is aware of:

  • Upcoming Dates & Events…

    • Feb 7th-11th - Staff Appreciation Week "Pulling Together"
    • February 14th - 100th Day of School/Valentine's Day
    • Feb 16th - Pink Shirt Day
    • Feb 21st-25th - February Break - No School
    • March 7th - PD/Staff Meeting - No School

Once again, thank you for doing your part to keep our Cougar community safe!

Take good care,

Mick Panko and Chantelle Nelson
