Turtle Qigong

Eight Treasures Qigong Class

Qigong Class at Hyde-EIGHT TREASURES

Eight Treasures Qigong (BA DUAN JIN) is one of the oldest and most famous Qigong methods in China. It was a popular folk healing practice in the 12th century. It consists of 8 routines that are designed to strengthen the bones, increase tendon flexibility, and strengthen and heal the organ systems and 7 emotions.

What is Qigong?

Qigong (chee-gong) is a moving meditation, an intentional practice that allows for the energy in our bodies, the Yin and Yang, to flow properly. This is beneficial for overall health. It is great for the immune system and is strengthening for the body. This practice is invaluable for athletes for balance, strength, flexibility and being on your game! Eight Treasures, being a Yang form, is especially good to do in the Wintertime. Qigong is gentle but at the same time, very powerful. It is ultimate self-healing exercise and is fun to do!
