We had a great week last week! I am so proud of the work that I am seeing in classrooms and we continue to strive for high levels of learning and expectations! This past week we had Parent Information NIght in conjunction with our TItle 1 Presentation. If you were unable to make it, the information has been added below. There is a video presentation, the DRAFT of the parent compact and a feedback form. Please take some time to review this information for you. Also- we would LOVE to hear your feedback so that we can continue to make adjustments as needed!

**Action Required**Economic Survey
Normally, a student’s economic status is determined by the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) application. GISD Student Nutrition Services (SNS) will continue with the same designated CEP campuses as in the past. The district has developed an economic survey form that is included in the back-to-school forms. We are asking all parents to complete the survey this year so that we may determine their economic status. Their responses affect the district’s federal funding and our campus and district accountability ratings. Your assistance in completing the survey is critical to our collective success. A copy of the economic survey was shared with you at Meet the Teacher Night and we will also send more copies home this week.
