Dear TTSD Community,

I write to you this afternoon full of pride and optimism having spent the day visiting our elementary schools. I experienced firsthand the energy and excitement that is filling our buildings as we wrap up final details and look forward to welcoming students back to our buildings the week of March 29. I share just a few pictures here of our staff and the care going into every detail to help our students come back in feeling safe and welcome.

  • All Elementary school meal sites will be closed to the community and only available for Hybrid student meals.

  • Community and Hybrid student siblings can pick up meals at bus route meal stops or updated open meal sites 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM:
    Twality Middle School
    Fowler Middle School
    Tualatin High School

Meal Service Update

Beginning March 29
  • Families who signed up for school meals during online enrollment will receive school breakfast and/or lunch.

  • If you did not sign up for meals during enrollment and want to sign up please contact your school office.

  • Morning Elementary students will receive lunch and breakfast for the next day at the 10:50 AM dismissal time

  • Afternoon Elementary Students will receive lunch and breakfast for the next day at the 3:05 PM dismissal time

  • No eating will be allowed on the school buses

  • All Elementary school meal sites will be closed to the community

  • Community children and Hybrid student siblings can pick up meals at bus route meal stops or meal pick-up sites from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM:

    • Fowler Middle School

    • Twality Middle School

    • Tualatin High School

  • Meal bus routes will be reduced from 8 to 6 routes.

OSAA Sportsmanship Nomination

Congratulations to Tigard Sub-Varsity Volleyball Team for showing good sportsmanship and receiving an OSAA Sportsmanship nomination. “This is a recognition program that gives OSAA sport officials the opportunity to highlight the positive sportsmanship that they see on the court. Each program that receives a nomination will be eligible to receive the OSAA Sportsmanship Award for their activity, which includes 100 OSAA Cup points for their school.”

TTSD Library Book Bus Canceled

Due to the requirements for Hybrid instruction the book bus has been canceled. Students and families can continue to reserve library materials using Destiny Discover and utilize curbside pick-up services or schedule appointments. Destiny Discover Information

Home Base Screening Symptom Infographic

As we prepare to return to school buildings for Hybrid In-Person learning we thank you for helping keep students and staff safe and healthy by using the Home Based Daily Symptom Screening Infographic to screen for illness. The Exclusion Guidelines provide additional information for determining when ill staff or students can return to school.

Enroll for Kindergarten 2021-2022 NOW

If your student will be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2021 please go to the Kindergarten Enrollment page to find your school and complete the online enrollment process. Contact your school if you have questions or need assistance.

Is your child or family struggling with mental health or wellbeing?

Your school counselors can help.

They are available for consultation, student check-in's, or referral to outside services. Contact your school office to be connected to the school Counselor or Family Partnership Advocate.
