We made it! Congratulations on a successful finish to the 2020-2021 school year! It’s been a wild ride and we could not have done it without your support. I am honored to be walking this journey with you. I love our Coronado students and our Coronado Community.
Coronado had an amazing year! Thank you for taking the time to celebrate with us. In this newsletter you will find a link to our Graduation 2021 photo album, dates of upcoming events, some final awards and celebrations, and any important information you need to know.
My hope for you and your family is that you get a chance to relax and breathe this summer . I want you to be ready and excited to return to Coronado in the fall. We will be working this summer to get ready for our best year yet!

Athletics Updates
- Congratulations to Daijon Safford on winning the AIA State Triple Jump Championship!
- Congratulations to Alex Barker for being the May Student-Athlete of the Month!
- Congratulations to Rachael Grapevine and Dylan Pendleton for being awarded the Senior Athletes of the Year!
- Athletic summer camps will be occurring during the month of June for the following sports: Boys Soccer, Boys Basketball, Wrestling, Football, Girls Basketball, Girls Volleyball. Please reach out to your coach for more information.
- Student Athletes, please be proactive and get your athletic physicals completed over the summer. Also make sure to update your RMA (Register My Athlete) accounts.

Weekly Meal Program Now at Pima Traditional School!
Our Weekly Meal Program has moved to Pima Traditional School for the summer!
ALL children under the age of 18 are eligible to receive FREE meals from SUSD Nutrition Services throughout the summer. Weekly meal bundles of 7 breakfasts and 7 lunches per child can be picked up curbside each Wednesday from 7 - 9:30 a.m. at Pima, 8330 E. Osborn Rd., Scottsdale. Meals are available at no charge and no qualification is necessary. See www.susd.org/Meals for complete details.
