Mr. Mardula

Hello, my name is Mark Mardula. I am a graduate of the Penn Cambria Class of 2015. I attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where I earned my degree in Middle Level Education specializing in Mathematics. I am currently coaching the Junior High football team and I am an assistant on the High School staff. I am excited to be joining the staff of PCHS this year as the BCIT teacher.

Ms. Norris

My name is Ms. Norris and I am excited to be teaching US History 1 and 2 this year! I am a graduate of Penn Cambria High School and I am happy to be working with our community. I have taught at several schools, including Forest Hills School District, Greater Johnstown School District, Central PA Digital Learning Foundation, and Commonwealth Charter Academy. I have enjoyed working with many families and students of all skill levels both in the brick-and-mortar setting as well as the digital setting. My goal this year is to guide students in reaching their full potential while allowing them to explore and express their interests. Students will be taught to do their best, be responsible, and be respectful in a work environment. These skills will serve students in any career of their choosing. It is also my goal to communicate regularly with students and parents/guardians to ensure awareness about each student's progress throughout the semester. To promote academic growth, I invite parents to be an active participant in their child's education. I look forward to working with you this year!

Personal Finance from NextGen

Congratulations to Mrs. Rossman for completing several summer professional development courses through NextGen Personal Finance and for being named a Challenge 3 Winner! In addition to several other learning modules, Mrs. Rossman completed the Career Certification Course as part of our Teacher in the Workplace program! NextGen provides many of the resources used in our HS Personal Finance course.

PCHS offers limited student parking around the school and in the overflow lot near the football field. The numbered spots around the school are limited to seniors, however there may not be enough to accommodate all seniors. Overflow parking is limited to 40 spots and we will not issue any other permits once those spots are full. Please remember that parking is a privilege at PCHS and can be revoked for not following the student driver rules as outlined in the student handbook on page 20. Please remember to always drive safely, watch out for pedestrians, allow buses to have the right away, and no speeding!

NEW FOR 2021-2022 School Year! If you are assigned a spot in the overflow lot, you will only be parking on the left side of the lot. Please obey the no parking signs and park only on the left side or your parking pass will be revoked! Also, make sure you do not park behind someone and block them in their spot.

Attendance at school every day is extremely important to achieve academic success, however we understand that from time-to-time absences are necessary. In the event of an absence, an excuse must be turned into the office within three days of returning to school. Please note that we are required by law to file with the magistrate’s office if a student accumulates more than 3 illegal absences. Additional information regarding the district’s attendance policy can be found on pages 10 and 11 of the student handbook.

PCHS Fall Sports

Our Penn Cambria fall teams of cross country, football, boys' soccer, girls' soccer, volleyball and cheerleading have been working hard to prepare for their seasons. We are excited to welcome spectators back to our events this fall season. Remember that being a spectator is a privilege - we expect good sportsmanship and respect from all of our fans. The link below will take you to the PC Athletics home page where you can find information about NFHS cameras as well as the sports schedule.

PCHS Cafeteria News

Penn Cambria Cafeteria is able to provide all students with both breakfast and lunch at no charge to families during the 2021-2022 school year under a waiver from the USDA.

We strongly encourage families to still complete the free and reduced-price meal application online as your family may be eligible for other benefits under the program. If you need a paper copy of the application, please call the High School.

Parents/guardians may choose to deposit money into a student account with the cafeteria for ala carte items. Parents may also check student food service accounts online by going to the district website. The Food Service Director, Angela Focht, can be reached at 886-8121 @ Ext. 2152.
