Welcome from our Principal
Parents and Students,
Welcome to Family Partnership Charter School! We are now the largest school in the District with 1,675 students! We've hired nine new Sponsor Teachers, a Curriculum Coordinator, and two Admin staff. We have doubled in size and have been spending the past two weeks training our new staff to be able to serve you. Kudos to our veteran staff for working long hours to help accommodate the surge of new families as we work to get our new staff trained. And thank YOU families for being patient with us as we've been in preparation. We stand ready to give you the absolute best in homeschooling services. So, connect with your Sponsor Teacher, order curriculum, and get ready for a great school year! You can rely on Family Partnership staff to provide you with homeschooling choices, flexibility, and support. We are here for you!

Barnes & Noble
Greetings,
I hope this note finds you all healthy and adjusting well to what is becoming the "new normal".
Our mission at Barnes & Noble continues to be providing quality materials and services to educators in our community. As we adapt to new business practices, we'll stay focused on that mission as we make any necessary adjustments to our offerings.
With the new school year starting, I want to let you know about some minor changes to our homeschool services, and how our team has prepared to safely get you materials for the coming school year.
We are still offering 2 methods to get your homeschool materials direct billed through your homeschool:
1) Wishlist Sharing - Many of you have used our online Wishlist shopping option in the past; and I think this is a great time to remind everyone how convenient that is. Just jump onto bn.com and create a Wishlist that can then easily be shared with us via email. Check out the attachment for easy, step-by-step instructions.
2) In-store Browsing - We will still have systems in place for families that prefer browsing in-store. However, to minimize exposure risk in our community we'd like to encourage people to try the online Wishlist share option (you may even find things we don't carry on the store shelves, but can order). Please be aware that due to reduced hours and staffing it will likely take longer now to get materials by browsing in-store vs. the Wishlist share option. If you do prefer to browse in-store, we've taken many precautions to ensure the safety of our customers and booksellers - feel free to check out the attachment "B&N Store Guidelines - COVID".
With either option, once we receive your request we'll submit a quote to your homeschool for approval. Then, once those items have been approved and charged to your allotment, we'll ship your order to you, or have the materials available to pick up at the store.
If you'd prefer to purchase your homeschool materials by paying out-of-pocket you can still get a discount by applying for an Educator Discount Card. Simply fill out the attached application and bring it to the store with one of the following items, confirming your current educator status: homeschool ID card, copy of your student's ILP, or an email from your homeschool group. Educator cards are valid for 2 years.
We're looking forward to working with you this coming year, even while practicing social distancing.
Sincerely,
Renee Millner
