Science and Social Studies
We will learn about needs and wants of plants and animals.
Extra Resources
Check out what's happening in our awesome classrooms!

Math Stations
We had fun with lots of hands-on learning during our Measurement unit!
Data Collecting
Since our Data Collecting activity (this one was favorite ice cream), the kids are surveying their friends at soft start and lunch! :)
Literacy Stations
Amaan and Nolan enjoyed using real objects to complete simple sentences during literacy stations.

Math
In math we wrapped up our Financial Literacy unit with an assessment. The scholars did very well to show what they know about the difference between things we need to live and things we want. We also explored a budget this week to help us understand how we can save, spend, and give with money.
Reading/ Writing
We spent our time researching our animals using pebblego articles and non-fiction books from our class library. We are adding our facts to a poster in our group to present to the class.
Dunk the Principal!
It was a hot and sticky day for dunking the Principal. We had fun watching her go down so many times!
Ms. Gomez
Interactive Word Work
We have been loving building CVC words on our newline! It has been great practice with sounding out and blending words!
Teen Numbers Practice
We enjoyed exploring with new math stations this week and practicing our skills on representing numbers to 20!
Spring Prompt Writing
We finished up our prompt writing this week by imagining we had a pet bunny and writing all about it!
Ms. Edson
Research
These past two weeks we have been learning about how to research and organize our thinking. Each little learner chose an animal from the African savanna. They have read about this animal, asked questions and taken notes. This week we will add to our hallway savanna so we can teach not just our class but others around us all about our chosen animal.
