Your Payne Quarterly Newsletter - March 2020
Welcome to the House of Payne!
This newsletter, which we will send out quarterly, is yet another way for us to communicate with you and to share the wonderful and positive things that are happening at Payne Junior High School. We hope you enjoy it and we value your feedback.
Included in the newsletter will be a calendar of events, as well as spotlights on students, teachers and staff. If you have newsworthy items to share, let us know and we will do our best to include them in the newsletter.
Enjoy!

Tax Credit Donation
If you would like to make a tax credit contribution using a credit or debit card, please make your contribution on our secure online system at www.cusd80.com/taxcredit or you can make donations directly from your Infinite Campus Parent Portal. Check or money order donations can be dropped off in the front office.
Parent Portal
Portal accounts will allow parents to check their child's academic progress at any time during the school year.
****Payment for ALL extracurricular activity fees will be done online via the "Parent Portal" in Infinite Campus by selecting InTouch Fee Payments. Please be sure you are enrolled.****
In order to utilize tax credit monies, the State of Arizona set forth a requirement that all school districts must charge a fee for enrolled students to participate in extracurricular activities. Primary guardians will need to continue to make payments through Infinite Campus so that the fees will link directly to their children and so they have a record of their payments. All other community members will be able to continue to utilize the third party online donation website. In addition to automating the fee collection process, both electronic fee payment systems help CUSD move towards becoming paperless.

Payne Clubs to Join
PJHS Builders Club sponsored a school supplies drive in August. PJHS students donated over 500 school supply items to students in need of school supplies. The AP class that donated the most items was Mrs. Hansen’s class. The class in second place for number of donated items was Mrs. Lockhart’s class. Go Panthers!
