NO IDiling

Remember, in order for us to be an Evergreen School (Highest Status) it is important to obey the No Idling signs out in the parking lot. PLEASE DO YOUR PART and turn your engine off while you are waiting. This is typically happening at the end of the day during pick up.

Barricade in the South Parking Lot

Please do not park or stand along the barricade in the south parking lot. This is unsafe for students to enter and exit the vehicle as well as causes congestion.

Kindergarten Parents

Well it's been almost three full weeks of school and it's time to let our little ones get out of the car (curbside) without you having to get out of the car and helping. If you feel like you are not there yet and they need your help or you need an extended goodbye, then please park your car in a parking spot and walk your child to the door. Here are ways that you can encourage them to be independent:

  1. Have them ready to go before leaving your driveway (i.e., backpack and lunch by their side.)
  2. Talk to your child on the way to school. Remind them of our Keller Essential Agreements: *We are safe and in control, *We are respectful, *We are responsible learners
  3. Say goodbye and I love you before exiting the car.

Ways and Means to Support Keller

hoparoo seems to be getting off to a great start! We have 19 supporters so far and we just put it out on FB yesterday - I would love to have 40 - 50 supporters and then have them actually continue to use it throughout the year (Shoparoo says that with 40 regular supporters, schools are earning about $1000). :)
