Student iPads - Check In
- In Person Students: Please make sure that your child's iPad is fully charged and brought to school on Monday, May 10th.
- Students will not be bringing their iPads home from May 10th until the end of the school year. They will be issued a new device at the start of the 2021-2022 school year.
- Students will need the following items brought to school:

Charges for damaged devices or missing components will be added to your child's account by the technology department and can be paid once the charge is processed and shows on the account.

Counselor's Corner
This week's mindfulness activity is journaling! Journaling is one of the best ways to help kids develop their self-esteem, as it encourages reflection, offers confidence, provides stability, and promotes creativity. When students journal, they become more aware of their own feelings and grow more comfortable in expressing their ideas. We challenge you to try it out this week with your young person!

A couple of reminders about library books as we finish out the school year:

Lost and Found
As the weather is warming up, we are noticing a lot of winter gear that is piling up in our Lost and Found. If you are missing something, please have your child check this. It is located in the Flex Room Hallway. All items still there at the end of the year will be donated.
2021-2022 SCHOOL YEAR AT MANCHESTER PARK
SNACKS/BIRTHDAY TREAT REMINDER
Snacks - We understand that some of our younger students will have lunch at different times than they are used to and might need a snack to hold them over. All snacks need to be an individually wrapped/bagged snack or fresh fruit/veggie and brought from home (no sharing). Teachers will decide when this will take place.
Birthday Treats - Bringing birthday treats is and always has been optional and a family decision. We know that it is also an enjoyable experience for children. Due to our circumstances, birthday treats need to be individually wrapped items and store bought (not homemade). To clarify “individually wrapped” means that the item has been wrapped either at the manufacturer or at the store where proper food handling procedures are followed.
Please do not purchase boxes of donuts, cupcakes, cookie cakes, etc. and take them home and then put them in individual baggies as does not count as “individually wrapped”. We know this is a tough restriction for some and school birthday celebrations are just not the same this year but just trying to minimize risk of exposure and spread of COVID this year.
We also highly encourage non-edible birthday treats for the class – erasers, pencils, etc. Students will not be able to deliver to other teachers, only distributed to the classmates.
