National Tell a Fairy Tale Day Success

Thank you so much for helping make our first ever National Tell a Fairy Tale Day a huge success! Our students learned so much this week about the adventures that await them inside a fairy tale story.

Here are the highlights from our exciting week at Woodland:

  • Kindergarten focused on different versions of the Three Little Pigs. We listened to stories that had the wolf as a victim and as a villain. Students had to decide who was telling the truth: the three little pigs, or the wolf. We then illustrated and wrote about why we chose that side.
  • Students engineered new houses for their pigs to withstand the wolf's "huffing and puffing".
  • We saved Rapunzel's beautiful hair by building a zip line to get her down from the tower safely.
  • As you can tell, this was an exciting day of learning, team work, and making memories!

A special thank you to Ms. Street and Mrs. Wilson for being excited about this awesome day!

Have a great weekend,

Mrs. Munzner
