Photosynthesis
Plants do it
What is photosynthesis?
Photosynthesis is the action of plants turning carbon into oxygen, while receiving needed sugar to survive.
What way do they perform photosynthesis?
They perform photosynthesis in their leafs. They take in carbon dioxide, light, energy, and water to make oxygen and glucose. This all occurs using chloroplast inside of a plant cell. It captures the carbon from the air and releases oxygen back making it so animals can perform cellular respiration.
What is cellular respiration?
Cellular respiration is the action of animals breathing in oxygen and breathing out carbon dioxide.
