A Message from the Principal

Good Evening EBE Parents/Guardians,

I think that it’s safe to now say that spring is now officially here along with all the beauty that accompanies it. Spring also marks PSSA season, which has now come and gone and we are thrilled about that! As EBE principal, on behalf of all EBE professional, thank you to our parents for all of your support. Students were here on time every day, and prepared to take the test. Now that testing is out the way, we can resume our normal business of learning and having lots of fun doing it!

United for HER

Unfortunately, cancer is a disease that impacts so many families and The East Bradford family is not without exception. In recent years we have witnessed cancer impact the lives of many across our greater school family. Although cancer has impacted so many, it has also called many supporter to action to fight against it. The support is manifested in the form of new treatments, tremendous growth in research, and a multitude of foundations throughout the world. For our part, the EBE community does an outstanding job supporting such life changing and life-saving causes. On behalf of EBE and all impacted by cancer, I would like to thank the EBE community for supporting the fight against cancer. Also, a special thank you to Brandy Dvorak and the team of parents that assisted her in organizing this event. Lastly, I would like to thank our boys and girl for their support and enthusiasm for this event. Thanks to your support we were able to raise over $3,400 to assist in the fight agianst cancer!

Chester County Special Olympics

We could not have dreamed of a better day for the 2019 Chester County Special Olympics. The day started off with an electric send off for our Olympians. Our student body was so proud and honored to show their appreciation and enthusiasm for their fellow classmates. I was so moved as their principal because it highlighted yet another example of how supportive, inclusive, and cohesive our environment is at East Bradford Elementary.

Once we arrived at the event, our Olympians were in full competition mode as they successfully competed and excelled in a multitude of events. I would like to extend a special thanks to Mrs. Brill, Mrs. Smith and their outstanding team for the hard work, love and complete dedication they show to our students. Thank you to the parents of our students in life skills for the honor of being part of their lives. Go Cougars!

Spring Concert

What a night! Thank you Mrs. Cooper and Mrs. Park for all that you do with our students. Thank you parents for your support for our band and strings programs. Our boy and girls did an amazing job! I still shake my head in amazement of what our children can learn in seven months. Please let our students know how proud we are of their performance.

4th and 5th Track District Track Meet

Hurray! We got the day that we were hoping to get for our meet, and it could not have been better. The euphoria filled the air as our students set out to bring home the gold! I was so proud of our students – they represent themselves and East Bradford very well. This was yet one more memorable event for our 5th graders as they prepare for Peirce. I hope they had a great time!
