What is Reformation?
Reformation is a 16th century movement for the reform of abuses in the Roman Catholic Church ending in the establishment of the Reformed and Protestant Churches. The reformation is one of the most important processes of change in Europe of the 16th century. Serious criticism of the Church of Rome led by the pope resulted in various reformation currents and the formation of several Protestant church reformations. Critical views of the religious sphere deeply impacted the social, spiritual, cultural, and political sphere.
Why is Reformation significant?
Reformation is important because it produced several important outcomes that have influenced the world. One of the most important was the the protestant movement that led to many new interpretations of Christianity. Protestantism was one of the many factors that led to the colonization of America. In turn created the most important outcome, which was the restoration of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
