Child Slavery......?
1910 Child Labor by-Kennedy Lehman
1.7 Million Child Workers
In 1910 there are millions of children working almost 12 hour work days. From ages 10-15 are most likely wage workers. They are almost always working for there families. Some causes of child labor is their parents are not making enough money to support there families.
Children are being payed very, very little for the back breaking work they went through. Children worked in jobs/places such as sweat shops, various factories, and sometimes even coal mines. As you can see many children are working way to much for way to little. Eventually congress passed a law to abolish child labor but their not safe. Later they declared it unconstitutional. Many years later they finally passed the fair labor act in 1938.
