The Class of 2022 has TWO remaining events this year!
Saturday, June 1st from 4:00-8:00pm at Chipotle in Seekonk (see top flyer below). 33% of all sales over $320.00 go directly to the class activities fund. Please join us to "Do Some Good with Burritos"!
Tuesday June 11th (June 12th rain date) from 5:00-6:30 at Bristol Town Beach. Mt. Hope High School End of School Year BBQ and Color Run (see bottom flyer below). The Color Run is less about your time and more about having the time of your life! Color Runners will be doused in different colors at each marker of the run. There are only two rules: Wear a white t-shirt and finish in color! Food and fun for everyone!
To purchase, go to myschoolbucks.com for tickets/ donations. Those who purchase will receive a buffet wristband on the day of the event. Tickets will also be available at school lunches (dates TBD). If you are unable to attend but would like to donate, you may do so at myschoolbucks.com!
Social/Civic Responsibility- In addition to our fundraising efforts, the Class officers and E-board members are creating "Links of Liberty". A linked chain of laminated red, white and blue messages of appreciation from our Mt. Hope history students to our Bristol Veterans. We hope to present the links to a representative from the Bristol Veteran's Home at the BBQ and Color Run!
How to Help? We are looking for parent help during the BBQ and Color Run to throw color during the run along the possible course along the bike path. This run event is participation based and is kindly NOT a road race.
Thank you for your continued support with time and resource contributions! We look forward to seeing you at either/both events!

7. StoryWalk at Mt. Hope High School
StoryWalk® at Mt. Hope High School
Open to the Public
Celebrate a graduating senior or any other special person by visiting the StoryWalk® at Mt. Hope High School from May 15th to June 1st from dawn to dusk. Funded by a grant from the Friends of the Library and co-sponsored by Mt. Hope High School, You're Here for a Reason by Nancy Tillman is the featured title. A StoryWalk® is a deconstructed book, weatherproofed and mounted on stakes designed to be read while experiencing nature.
You’re here for a reason. If you think you’re not
I would just say that perhaps you forgot…
a piece of the world that is precious and dear
would surely be missing if you weren’t here.”
Everyone matters.
You’re Here for a Reason shows readers how each of us fits into life’s big picture, and how the world would be incomplete without you in it.
The walk will be located on Chestnut Street between the athletic complex and the high school and features a waterfall and flowering plants. New this year is the opportunity to let us know you visited by scanning a QR code at the end of the walk and sharing photos with the hashtag #bristolstorywalk.
The StoryWalk™ Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Vermont Bicycle & Pedestrian Coalition and the Kellogg-Hubbard Library.
