Principal's Message
Dear Hallinan Families,
It was great to see so many students, families and staff last night at the Carnival - phenomenal art, bouncy houses, a dunk tank, games and food - so much fun!! A huge thank you to our incredible volunteers that planned and coordinated this popular event. And extra kudos to all the parents willing to sit in the dunk tank - you definitely went the extra mile!
Hallinan is fortunate to have so many talented and amazing volunteers. You make our jobs much easier but more importantly, you enrich the lives of our students on a daily basis through enhanced educational programming, school spirit and events and classroom support. We value your partnership and appreciate you tremendously. I would like to personally thank you for your time and efforts. Please join me on Thursday, June 8 from 8:30 to 9:30 am in the Library.
Hope to see you there!
Melissa Griffiths

Hello Hallinan Families!
Slice of Gratitude
A big thanks to two very special ladies: Shannon Guirl & Barbara Carbone. Shannon filmed & edited the Playground and Mural Presentation video. Her efforts made it easy to share the school needs the fourth graders brought to our attention. And, Barbara championed the Art Auction project making sure each classroom had the opportunity to create something amazing! Please thank both of these women the next time you see them. Shannon and Barbara are examples of how volunteering creates a lasting legacy at Hallinan.
Speaking of Volunteering: Next Year's Auction
This year we wanted to create an inclusive event that all families could attend, while still raising needed funds for Hallinan. And, that is how the Carnival and Art Auction came to be.
We are grateful for the many local businesses that supported us in this more modest celebration.
If you would like to see Hallinan return to a gala auction next year, please let us know - email us at hallinanpresident@gmail.com so we can start looking for the amazing team of people that will be needed to plan and organize it.
MOD pizza event next Thursday, June 8th
Join us for a school fundraising Pizza Party at MOD Pizza on 6/8! It's an excellent chance to come together with Hallinan families and celebrate the end of the year while showing support for our school. When you place your order, mention the fundraiser or use the code MODGIVES20 for online purchases. Don't miss out on this fun opportunity! Link to the MOD Pizza Page Here!
